Driver terms
These terms apply to every driver who drives with Kimem Meter Taxi. The office goes through them with you when it creates your account.
Commission
Kimem takes a commission from your package on each completed ride. The app shows the current rate.
Your package balance
The commission comes off your package balance after each ride. When a rider used a coupon, Kimem adds the coupon amount back. When your balance is low, the app warns you. Below the minimum balance, you cannot go online or accept rides until you top up.
Top drivers earn a performance bonus, added straight to their package balance.
Top-ups
Send money with telebirr to the Kimem support account and send the screenshot on Telegram, or top up at the office. Every top-up shows on your Top-ups page.
Suspension
We can suspend an account for:
- charging more than the meter
- false trips
- fake GPS or a mock location app
- sharing your account
- repeated cancelling after accepting
- unsafe driving, or abuse of riders or staff
- expired documents that you do not renew
Acceptance
The office records that you accepted these terms when it creates your account.
