What we collect
- የመለያ መረጃ: ስልክ ቁጥርዎ (በSMS ኮድ ይረጋገጣል) እና ስምዎ። ለሾፌሮች በተጨማሪ የመንጃ ፈቃድ መረጃና ፎቶ፣ የተሽከርካሪ ታርጋ ቁጥርና ፎቶ።
- የቦታ መረጃ: ተሳፋሪዎች መተግበሪያውን ሲጠቀሙ ብቻ። ሾፌሮች ስራ ላይ (online) ሲሆኑ፣ መተግበሪያው ከጀርባ ሲሰራም ጭምር።
- የጉዞ መረጃ: መነሻ፣ መድረሻ፣ መንገድ፣ ሰዓት፣ ዋጋ፣ በጥሬ ገንዘብ የተከፈለው መጠን እና ደረጃ አሰጣጥ።
- የመሳሪያ መረጃ: የማሳወቂያ (push) መለያ፣ የመተግበሪያ ብልሽት ሪፖርት (የስልክ ሞዴል እና የስርዓት ስሪት) እና የመሳሪያ ትክክለኛነት ማረጋገጫ።
- Account: your phone number (verified with an SMS code) and your name. For drivers, also driving licence details and photo, and the vehicle plate number and photo.
- Location: for riders, only while you use the app. For drivers, while you are online, including when the app runs in the background.
- Rides: pickup, dropoff, route, times, fare, the cash amount paid, and ratings.
- Device: a push notification token, crash reports (phone model and OS version), and a device integrity check.

Why we use it
ጉዞዎችን ለማስተናገድ፣ ቅርብ የሆነውን ሾፌር ለመላክ፣ ዋጋ ለማስላት፣ ደህንነትን ለመጠበቅ፣ ማጭበርበርን ለመከላከል፣ ድጋፍ ለመስጠት እና ህግ ሲያስገድድ ለማክበር። ማስታወቂያ አንሰራም፤ መረጃዎን ለማንም አንሸጥም።
To run rides, send the nearest driver, calculate fares, protect safety, prevent fraud, give support, and meet legal duties. We do not run advertising, and we never sell your information.
መረጃ ከማን ጋር ይጋራል
Who we share it with
- በተሳፋሪና በሾፌር መካከል: ለጉዞው ሲባል ሾፌሩ የተሳፋሪውን ስም፣ መነሻና መድረሻ ያያል፤ ተሳፋሪው የሾፌሩን ስም፣ ተሽከርካሪ፣ ታርጋና የት እንዳለ ያያል።
- የጉዞ ማጋሪያ አገናኝ: የጉዞ አገናኝ (link) ካጋሩ፣ አገናኙ ያለው ሰው ሁሉ ጉዞው እስኪያልቅ ድረስ መንገዱንና የመኪናውን ቦታ ማየት ይችላል።
- አገልግሎት አቅራቢዎች: መረጃ በ Google Firebase ላይ ይቀመጣል (Google Cloud፣ africa-south1፣ ጆሃንስበርግ፣ ደቡብ አፍሪካ)። አድራሻና መንገድ ለማግኘት Google Maps እንጠቀማለን። የመግቢያ ኮድ ለመላክ ስልክ ቁጥርዎ ለSMS አገልግሎት አቅራቢ ይተላለፋል።
- ድንገተኛ አደጋ: የአደጋ ቁልፉን ሲጠቀሙ የእኛ ኦፐሬተሮች ጉዞዎንና ቦታዎን ያያሉ።
- ህግ: ህግ ሲያስገድድ ለመንግስት አካላት እንሰጣለን።
- Between rider and driver: for the ride, the driver sees the rider's name, pickup, and dropoff; the rider sees the driver's name, vehicle, plate number, and live position.
- Trip share links: if you share a trip link, anyone holding the link can see that trip's route and the car's live position until the ride ends.
- Service providers: data is stored on Google Firebase (Google Cloud, region africa-south1, Johannesburg, South Africa). We use Google Maps for addresses and routes. Your phone number is passed to an SMS provider to deliver the sign-in code.
- Emergencies: when you use the emergency button, our operators see your ride and location.
- Authorities: when the law requires it.
መረጃ ለምን ያህል ጊዜ ይቀመጣል
How long we keep it
መለያዎ ክፍት እስከሆነ ድረስ መረጃዎ ይቀመጣል። መለያዎን መሰረዝ በማንኛውም ጊዜ ይችላሉ፤ ስረዛው ከ30 ቀን በኋላ ይፈጸማል። ስምዎ፣ ስልክ ቁጥርዎ፣ ፎቶዎ እና (ለሾፌሮች) የፈቃድና የተሽከርካሪ መረጃ ይሰረዛሉ። ያለፉ ጉዞዎችና የክፍያ መዝገቦች ስምዎ ተነስቶ ለህግና ለሂሳብ አላማ ይቀመጣሉ። ዝርዝሩን በመለያ ስረዛ ገጽ ይመልከቱ።
We keep your information while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time; deletion completes after a 30 day wait. Your name, phone number, photo, and (for drivers) licence and vehicle details are removed. Past rides and payment records are kept for legal and accounting purposes with your name taken off them. መረጃዎን ማየት፣ ማስተካከል ወይም መሰረዝ ይችላሉ። ለዚህ በመተግበሪያው ውስጥ ወይም በ kimemtaxi@gmail.com ያግኙን። የኢትዮጵያ የግል መረጃ ጥበቃ ህግ ተፈጻሚ ነው።
You can see, correct, or delete your information. Do it in the app or write to kimemtaxi@gmail.com. Ethiopian personal data protection law applies.
ደህንነት
Security
መረጃ በመተላለፊያ ጊዜ የተመሰጠረ (encrypted) ነው። መረጃ የሚያዩት ስራው የሚጠይቃቸው ሰራተኞች ብቻ ናቸው።
Data is encrypted in transit. Only staff whose work requires it can access your information.

Age
አገልግሎቱ ከ18 አመት በላይ ለሆኑ ሰዎች ብቻ ነው።
The service is for people aged 18 and over.
